Nathan's Birthday.

Well, I wish I could say that we did something SPECTACULAR for Nate's Birthday but..... it didn't quite turn out that way. The Birthday Boy ended up having to do some briefings at two different navy bases. I took the day off of work and tagged along with Nate, Ryan, and his girlfriend Ella. We did a little shopping at the NEX and ate Chilis which is always a treat. Nate had a few drinks (when his shift ended), got some free cheesecake, and had Happy Birthday sung to him. He hates that! For his present, I got him a portable harddrive. It was one of those things that he really wanted but can't justify buying for himself. He's the big 22 now.. Watch out!

Less then One Week 'Til Christmas.

Well, here we are halfway through all of our Christmas Festivities and we're having a blast. My office held a Christmas party, on Friday the 12th (I think) and boy was that an experience. Most of our office is Japanese Nationals and we went to a traditional Japanese Shabu Shabu restaurant (no shoes, sitting on the floor, etc.). We mixed all of our own sauces and seasonings and then cooked all of our own food in a pot of boiling water. It's similar to Yakiniku style dining but instead of fire you use water. Then we went to the Shidax... our local karoake place. I have never seen so many people DYING to sing karaoke. My co-workers and I sang a number of Christmas songs and some Weird Al. I can't wait to get a group of friends together and go out and do it again.

This Friday was the 730th Squadron Christmas Party, Nathan and I got all dressed up (he even bought a suit) and had a good time drinking and dancing with our friends. Yes, Nathan danced too :) I bought new shoes for the event that gave me quite a few blisters. I've been tip-toeing around the house to avoid the pain. I should mention that my Dad picked the dress that I wore while I visited in November and I received quite a few compliments. Thanks Dad!!

Now, it is Sunday, and we're halfway through the Christmas Festivities. We have one Christmas party on the 23rd, where we're going to play White Elephant and Wii. Then the rest of the week is ours to relax and enjoy some time off. We even get a week break in our school schedule for Christmas, which is pretty awesome if you ask me. Happy Holidays Everyone! Welcome...!!

Welcome!! I've decided to start a blog to keep everyone updated with Nathan and I. I don't seem to update my MySpace often enough to satisfy everyone..PLUS.. this way everyone can join in on the fun not just those with MySpace :)

To kick this thing off, we are doing very well. This week is a busy one! With Christmas coming up there are so many festivities to join in on. We have two Christmas parties this week, Nathan's 22nd Birthday next week, ANOTHER Christmas party on the 20th, and a gathering on Christmas Eve! It's going to be a blast! Hopefully, we can both keep up on our homework. We put up our first Christmas tree together the day after Thanksgiving and it's B-E-A-utiful. It already has presents underneath it too. So far, the dogs havent tried to eat the ornaments and only one present has been destroyed. Well, I've got to get to homework. Sayonara. NateDogg and SmelliDanyelli
